Student Library Card - This is awesome for teachers!
We are so excited about this opportunity for students!
Next school year, each student in Calvert County Public Schools will be issued a digital “Student Library Card.” The card will allow students to check out print materials, plus access digital resources, “Ask Me Now,” and online tutoring. Downloadable materials, such as books for Kindles and other eReaders, will also be available to support school success. All of these materials can be found on the Calvert Library website at www.calvertlibrary.info.
- The Student Library Card gives limited borrowing privileges; students may only check out up to five print items at a time.
- If a student already has a library card, the student card acts as an additional card, or both accounts may be moved to the student card.
- There will be no fines associated with this account; however, items must be returned as they normally would. Lost items will count against future borrowing.
- A parent or guardian may contact the library at any time to suspend or limit borrowing privileges to this account.
- A parent or guardian may have his or her name added to the student account. Parents and guardians have the responsibility to monitor their children’s access to library materials.
