8th Grade MHS Pride in Motion Marching Band
A select few 8th graders were given the opportunity to march with the Mooresville High School Pride in Motion Marching Band, and boy did they do a fantastic job! The Pride in Motion went to their SouthEast Regional competition this past weekend, making finals for the second time in a row, and finishing as a top 11 group (top group from NC!!!) at the event that featured bands from NC, SC, TN, GA, and FL. They had their best performance of the season, and I'm extremely proud of the 8th graders who joined about 1/4 into the season. They learned all the movements and drill sets, and worked so hard to do well for their peers.
These students worked really hard over the past two months, and had an amazing final performance. We are extremely proud of their hard work. Congrats:

MMS Poinsettias For Sale
MMS is partnering with Patterson farms to bring MMS Families the opportunity to deck their halls and help out the school with holiday Poinsettias. MMS will provide poinsettia for $15 and pick up at the school. All Poinsettia's are in 6-inch pots and come with custom wraps. Flowers can be picked up on Saturday, December 11th.
Thanks from our Rocky River friends...
Rocky River Elementary School had a big event last Friday evening. MMS students Bennett Dame, Joe Hauck, and Clara Kaemba volunteered at the event. They handed out 1000s of pieces of candy to children. Rocky River thanks these middle school students for their time. MMS is proud of our students for giving back to the community.
