Message from your PTA
PTA Membership Drive ends on October 31st! Congrats to Mrs. Law & Mrs. Sartori's class for having 108% PTA participation! This means more than 1 parent, any even grandparents, have joined PTA to support our school. Mrs. Judson’s class is in second place at 96% enrollment and Ciccotelli’s class is close behind with 92% enrollment. Remember, the Harvest Festival is free for all PTA members!
Will Law/Sartori win the class party?? We'll see!
The class with the highest percentage of PTA members will win a party of their choice! You should have an email from the online membership system, TOTEM, where you can download your membership card. Please email fopptamem@gmail.com with any questions or technical difficulties.
The deadline is fast approaching for the PTA Reflections Contest . . . . Nov 1st at 3:30pm. Entries are due in at the school office. This year's theme is "Heroes Around Me" and may be interpreted through any of these six categories: Dance, Music, Film, Photography, Visual Arts, Literature.
Who is a Hero to you? Can kids be Heroes? Submission guidelines and entry forms were sent home before Fall Break and extra copies can be picked up from outside the office.
Please email fopptapar@gmail.com for more information. For inspiration, visit the Reflections online gallery showcasing past years work from around the district PTA.org/Reflections. Good luck and have fun!

Harvest Festival This Weekend!
Our annual Harvest Festival is this Saturday, October 27th 11am - 2pm!
This is always a fan favorite with our families! Don't miss out!
There will be games, activities, face painting, food, and fun! Our 6th graders will be putting on an amazing Haunted House. Also there will be treats, baked goods, drinks, and cotton candy to purchase. Proceeds help send our 6th graders to camp.
Each classroom has been assigned a game. Please be sure to sign up here for your shift & help your student’s class. We would LOVE your donations of candy and/or apples for this event! Please bring them to the office now through 10/26. Do you have a Pop Up Tent? Please consider lending it to the event! If you have one to lend, please email fopptamem@gmail.com or bring it to the office marked with your name and phone number.
The Harvest Festival is free to all families who have a PTA membership. If you're not a member yet, don't worry, you can pay at the door for entrance or a membership.
See you there!

Message from our Mentor Me Program
Hello Penngrove parents and families. As we are knocking on the door of the holiday season, some of us may be pondering how to give back. You may be thinking how do I give a gift that has meaning, rather than another disposable item? One way you can make a huge difference is to take one hour a week to become a mentor. Change a life, experience the joy of becoming a mentor. We currently have 8 children on our waitlist at Penngrove Elementary School. Just waiting to meet you, your parents, grandparents, neighbors - whomever may have that one hour a week to spend with one of our amazing students. If you have any questions or interests please contact Sarah Keiser 707-332-5969 skeiser@wrmm.org

6th Grade Outdoor Ed will also be present selling chatskies (pencils, erasers, bookmarks, emojis, slime, and more!) to help send kids to camp!
