Choosing to follow Jesus

So proud of Karilyn and Ariana who chose to follow Jesus and were baptized a couple weeks ago in their local churches.

KAES Thanksgiving Lunch

On Tuesday KAES had our Thanksgiving lunch. It was fun to come together as classroom families. We all have much to be thankful for, God has blessed us with so much. Let's continue to rely on and trust God and be thankful.

Field Trips

This week KAES elementary students went on field trips. Some went to the Fort Worth Zoo and some went to SeaQuest. Both trips focused on animals. It is so nice to see our students getting to go out and experience and explore. Special thank you to all the parents who took time to help chaperone students.

Pre-K shares words of kindness with the student body

This past Wednesday Pre-K students walked around the gym just before chapel, seeking other students to share encouragement cards/gifts. Nothing can turn a grumpy spirit into joy as quickly as a pre-k student when sharing encouraging cards. Thank you!

Abby (therapy dog) visits KAES

Abby had her first visit to KAES. Today's visit was just to see how our youngest would relate to Abby. Abby is schedule to return the first week of each month. We have also made it possible for students to spend some one on one comfort time with Abby. We look forward to seeing Abby again real soon!

7th grade celebrate the Texas Revolution

This week the 7th grade celebrated the completion of their Texas Revolution unit. Students wrote speeches and poems, drew murals and made presentations to the class. The extravaganza ended with a piñata and a Mexican potluck.

Works of Art

Middle school students are bringing home their works of art today. They look amazing. Art sometimes gets overlooked but is important to a complete and well rounded curriculum. Encourage your child's efforts in art.
