Winter break has begun! OEC classes resume on Monday, January 9th and OCC classes start Tuesday, January 10th.
College Update
All students should be registered for winter semester college courses by now. If you have not registered, make sure you do so ASAP. The fall semester ends on December 19th so make sure you are focusing on what needs to be done to finish strong.
The end of the semester also means the return of books. All students need to return any books issued by OEC to Mr. Heffelbower as soon as their class ends so they can be inventoried and made available for students second semester. New books can be picked up December 19th - 23rd.
United We Walk
The West Bloomfield School District's annual United We Walk event, a celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is scheduled for Sunday, January 15th, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at West Bloomfield Middle School. Please click here for more information. Student Government is collected donations at OEC. Donations requested are:
- Mac and Cheese
- Canned Foods
- Non-perishable items
- Diapers for Adults and Babies
- Baby Formula
- Gently Used Books for K - 12
United We Walk Expression Contest
The West Bloomfield School District is sponsoring an Oratorical Contest for the annual United We Walk event. This year, the topic is "I Have a Dream...1963 - 2023." We would love to have OEC students participate in this contest! The deadline for entry is Friday, 12/23 and you can click here for more information.

PIT Crew
