I would like to share opportunities that are currently in need of volunteer coordinators for the upcoming school year. If you have an interest in serving in one of these areas, please contact me. Registration Fees
Just a friendly reminder that registration balances are due no later than Monday, May 15. Balances can be paid at the school office or online by WeShare. Enrollments with outstanding registration balances cannot be guaranteed as confirmed.
STUDENT POETRY FESTIVAL
Saint John Nepomuk is proud to present the Student Poetry Festival on May 19, 2017 from 12:30-2:00 in Marian Hall. All are welcome! The program will include many of the students from 1 st through 3rd grades. The students will be reciting a poem he/she has memorized. We are looking forward to a unique display of the students’ talents.

Falcon Field Day 2017
On May 24th we are going to have a Falcon Field Day!
This day will be filled with many fun activities both inside and outside. Pre-K through 3rd grade will do field day events in the morning (9-11) and 4th through 8th will do field day events in the afternoon (12:30-2:30). Students will compete in each event for points for their team. All points will be added up at lunch and again at the end of the school day. The winning team will get a prize on the last day of school. We will gather as a whole school community at 11:30 for a picnic lunch.
All students have been divided into 10 different teams. Each team has been given a color for the day. Students are to wear their team color on this day. Visit this LINK to see the list of teams. Rosary Group
Our Rosary Group will meet in Assumption Chapel to pray the Rosary every weekday during the month of May at 2:30.

Spring Picture Reminder!
Go to mylifetouch.com to pay or return payment with photo package. If you pay online, the Picture Day ID is: OC016069Q0
Families wishing to purchase their child/ren's Spring Photos need to return the envelope with payment for pictures purchased. If you do not purchase the entire package include payment for the photos you purchase and leave the remainder of the photos in the envelope. If you do not wish to purchase the picture package, please return the package in it's entirety to the school office. The deadline for returning Spring Photo packages is Friday, May 5.
Families not returning picture packages to the school for credit will be charged $45 for each picture package not returned. Questions regarding payments/picture packages should be directed to Lifetouch Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at 1-866-955-8342.

VBS Information & Volunteers Needed!
Vbs Information
Plan now to get your summer off to a great start! This year’s exciting VBS program is June 12th-16th, 9- 12:30. Children will love their time at Maker Fun Factory VBS-Created by God, Built for A Purpose. VBS is for children enrolling in PK4 -5th grade in the Fall. Children in 6 th grade and above may register to volunteer. Enrollment forms are available in the parish or school office or at the link below. Cost is $20.00. Enroll by June 5th to receive a VBS t-shirt. Contact Mariavis in the parish office, if you have any questions.
VBS Volunteers
To make our Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School a success, many volunteers are needed. All volunteers, 14 years and above must have attended a Safe Environment Training Meeting. Contact Mariavis in the parish office to volunteer.

Okarche Track Meet Results

Enrollment Information & Update
199 Students Enrolled as of May 11!!
Enrollment for current students began on March 6. Thank you to those of you who have re-enrolled your child(ren) for SJN for the 2017-2018 school year! If you have yet to re-enroll, please remember to use forms provided by the school to complete the enrollment process as many of our forms are color coded.
Please note that a "spot" or continued enrollment isn't confirmed until all registration items have been submitted to the school office. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Registration fees of $330 per student can be paid in two parts. Half of the registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. The other half is due by May 15, 2017.
Please contact the school office if you have questions regarding enrollment.
Medication Pick-Up-- End of School Year
These medications are expensive, so to avoid purchasing new ones, please don't forget to come and check them out of the office.
SCRIP News!

Gift cards are purchased by the school at a pre-determined discount. You buy those retailer gift cards at face value, then SJN splits the discount with you. You can then use the money towards lunches or tuition.

It may not seem like much, but it adds up! Review your budget and purchase Scrip cards from SJN to earn money at the places you normally spend money.
