Please be sure to check out our daily bulletin and after school calendar for the available opportunities. We can't wait for you to get a glimpse of KP during our upcoming Open Houses. While I will be acting as a parent and lead learner, I look forward to connecting with you.
Be sure to check out our other after school offerings starting soon by clicking the daily bulletin link above or here. If you haven't put our school events on your calendar yet, please refer to our KP Year at a Glance document here.

Join Unified Theater
Unified Theater dissolves typical barriers between youth through transformative, school-based performing arts programming. In Unified Theater, young people with and without disabilities, of all backgrounds, come together as equals to put on a production. The production is entirely organized, written, and directed by the students themselves. The concept is simple: empower youth to lead, let creativity rule, and put the Spotlight on Ability.
KP Unified Theater is looking for energetic and enthusiastic participants! Our season begins on Monday, September 17th from 3-4 in the small cafe. Pick up your packet outside of room 4! If you have questions, please attend the OPTIONAL information session THIS Thursday from 3:00 to 3:30 with Ms. Condon in room 4. Please arrange for transportation due to the shortened time frame!

"Public Act 16-189
We believe that it is vital for all students in West Hartford Public Schools to be able to efficiently and effectively use digital tools that empower them in all phases of the learning process, including research, problem solving, content creation, communication, and collaboration. We also believe that we must be committed at all times to protecting students' privacy and providing them with a powerful and safe educational experience. To that end, the West Hartford Public Schools follow the legal requirements of Public Act 16-189 to promote the safety and security of all students and staff.
In compliance with Connecticut State Law, we update online programs used within the district that house student data. The programs may be used district-wide, in a very small number of classrooms, or with individual students. The list will be updated each time the district enters into a new contract where student data is housed. For more information on the specifics of Public Act 16-189 and updates of vendor agreements, visit www.whps.org/pa189."
