Congratulations to 8th grader, Jerome Montgomery, for being named P2 Student of the Month. He is a LINK Mentor, a member of the basketball team, and the robotics team. His teacher, Mrs. Sutto, had this to say, " Jerome brings humor and enthusiasm in all that he does, and I really enjoy having him in class. He is also a leader in the classroom." Way to go Jerome! Thank you for helping to make AGS a positive place to be!

Congratulations to AGS Clerk, Denise Bakker for being named Staff Member of the Month. Mrs. Bakker, like all of our AGS office staff, helps to keep the office running smoothly. She assists students, staff, and parents in various ways when they enter the office. Mrs. Bakker also handles all of the AGS athletic duties. Thank you, Mrs. Bakker for ALL you do for our students, staff, and families.

Student Shout Out

Clare Hunter, 7th Grade

Big picture
Last weekend Clare competed it the Region 5 Gymnastic Championships! She competed against the best level 6 gymnasts across 5 states (Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan) where she placed 1st in her floor routine (champion) 5th on vault and 9th on beam. To get a 1st place finish takes grit, determination, strength, growth mindset and more!!! Congratulations to Clare and keep up the good work! AGS PROUD!

AGS Leadership Council

Students from our AGS Leadership Council welcomed 5th graders (Tomek, State Road, and North Road) with Tiger Paw High Fives on Wednesday for Transition Day. Leadership students led 5th graders on a tour of AGS and ate lunch with them. Thank You Leadership students for helping to make 5th grade Transition Day a huge success!
