After you're done adventuring through the Andes Mountains, you can relax and eat some potatoes, apples, pears, and corn because these crops grow well in high elevation. Crops such as oranges, bananas, and tomatoes are cannot be grow on this terrain so, they're brought to this region through trade.
The average temperatures in this region range from 55 degrees Fahrenheit to 65 degrees Fahrenheit, but the nights are colder. The natives wear woolen clothes to protect themselves from the cold and this will help you stay warm during your stay.
The Altiplano contains Lake Titicaca, the world's largest lake and it's deep and large enough for activities such as boating and canoeing. Lake Titicaca is rumored to hold hidden treasure.
The natives is this region have thick-walled houses made out of stone or adobe brick for shelter. If you try to live in this region, learn from the Quechua and Aymara people that live in this region.
