SEALNet's 2016 Cambodia Projects

Project Cambodia 2016 - Siem Reap is a 2-week program focusing on empowering the at-risk children of trafficking to become future leaders of their vulnerable communities and strengthen the capacity of youth leaders in contribution to Siem Reap.

During this journey, the project participants will come to internalize the central theme, ‘The Act of Empowering From Within’.

Time: August 8-21, 2016
Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia


Project Cambodia 2016 - Phnom Penh will focus on the three key words: underprivileged children, inspiration, and education, which will be the most prominent themes throughout the two-week workshops.

Wishing to improve the situation, the project aims to inspire underprivileged children in the slum areas in Phnom Penh through equipping them with essential skills which will help them to have fun and engage more in general learning, e.g. painting, drawing, coding and role playing etc.

The Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network, SEALNet, is a non-profit organization founded in Stanford University, dedicated to service leadership and working with Southeast Asian communities around the world.

Volunteer with AIESEC and travel the world

In collaboration with AIESEC Drexel, you will be paired with an outgoing exchange program in Beijing (China), Sao Paolo (Brazil), Calculta (India), Torino (Italy) and many more destinations to work on community development, human rights, children education and social issues with local AIESEC chapters. These programs are 100% student-run and non-profit. Each program usually lasts 6-8 weeks starting from June.

What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus to empower young people so they can make a positive impact on society. The AIESEC network includes over 100,000 members in 133 countries and territories. It is the largest youth-run organization in the world.
