We'd love to hear your ideas about reading in fun places. Thanks Kim Hahn and Amy Sanford for sharing this fun idea!
This past week Mrs. Hahn's class had their very first “Flashlight Friday!” They read in the dark with flashlights and by a cozy fire (YouTube videoJ). Reading with flashlights really helped with reading engagement and stamina. The kids had so much fun and were able to read for over 15 minutes!
Here is a little video-https://photos.app.goo.gl/L7SJ6G9ckP6BbzX98
Find your flashlights at Walmart. They were $10 for a pack of 10 flashlights (batteries included).
