EDUCATORS OF THE WEEK
This dedicated team has been working non stop since the last day of school in June to make sure our schools have the technology needed to keep us moving forward. Some of the big projects they have been immersed in include:
- Chromebook distribution at all levels
- Projectors updated in classrooms across the district
- Safety upgrades at elementary school foyers
- Increasing and updating security cameras at all schools
- Installing "Raptor" visitor management systems in all schools
- Working with a number of district stakeholders to create a new district website
- Upgrading the entire phone network across the district
All four professionals bring a positive attitude and a wealth of knowledge to every school and they play a key role in the teaching and learning that takes place everyday in the MPSD. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts and we are fortunate to have them on our team.
WALL OF HONOR CEREMONY-September 22nd
The special ceremony will take place on September 22nd at Haddad's Ocean Cafe.
MPSD GOES GOLD
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. To commemorate this, Marshfield Public Schools is going gold!
Next week, your child’s school will be aiming to fill the gold boot (located in the front office) with spare change. All week long, students are invited to bring spare change to put in the boot. All money will be donated to South Shore Action for Hope, who fundraise for pediatric cancer research. Through this fundraiser, we are aiming to give pediatric cancer the boot!
On Friday, September 23rd, all schools in the district will participate in a Go Gold Day. We invited our students to wear yellow or gold on this day to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and close out Go Gold Week.

BRIDGES IN MATHEMATICS
The MPSD is excited to begin a new math program at our five elementary schools.
Bridges in Mathematics is a comprehensive PK–5 curriculum that equips teachers to fully address state standards in a rigorous, engaging, and accessible manner. Students gain a deep understanding of concepts, proficiency with key skills, and the ability to solve complex problems. The curriculum is composed of three distinct but integrated components: Problems & Investigations, Work Places and Number Corner.
Here's a few pictures of Bridges in action across the district.
