Message from Geordie
Good afternoon again families,
A nice short one from me today.
Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thankyou and Happy Mother’s Day to all the significant women in our lives. Our Mums are our taxi driver, our chef AND waitress, our counsellor, events coordinator, referee, doctor, sports coach, personal assistant, cuddle monster, teacher and our biggest fan! I hope we all get the opportunity to celebrate our special women this weekend!
Thanks to Year 1 and Mrs Bennett for their awesome assembly this morning, it was great fun to watch! Enjoy the weekend and the opportunity to see each other smile …We will see everyone next Monday!

Merit Awards - 14 May 2021
The following students will be receiving their awards, parents are welcome to attend.

More excellent work in class!
Naplan 2021
Teachers have been working with students to ensure they are familiar with the test format but it is important not to overstate the importance of the tests or to build up anxiety in the children. We have been explaining to the students that NAPLAN helps the teachers determine what we need to focus on in teaching and learning and that they just need to give their best efforts.
Walk Safely to School Day - Friday 14 May

Mrs King will be at the IGA car park at 8.00am and we are hoping to create a really long "walking school bus' all the way from the shops to school. See you there!!
