About Gerald Mayfield
A former regional production manager with Norampac, Gerald Mayfield managed the production of corrugated containers at three facilities in New York and Connecticut. His responsibilities with Norampac included strategic production planning, quality control, customer service, capital improvements, regulatory compliance, and employee safety. Before accepting his regional production manager position, Gerald Mayfield oversaw 90 hourly employees and 10 floor supervisors as a production manager at the Norampac plant in Schenectady, New York.
Other corrugated production facilities managed by Gerald Mayfield include the Temple Inland factory in Tampa, Florida, and the Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation factory in Atlanta, Georgia. He also served Smurfit-Stone as a plant superintendent and a quality assurance manager.
Beyond the realm of direct production management, Mr. Mayfield has worked with a number of software companies that cater specifically to the corrugated container industry, including CTI and Kiwiplan. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as a shop floor advocate for Workbrain.
