Our April Poetry Contest is back by popular demand. Join us as we celebrate National Poetry Month’s 20th Anniversary. The theme of the contest is “Change,” with a suggested Poem-a-Week challenge. April will include two events, “Slam into Change” Poetry Slam on April 23 and a Poetry Reading on April 30 of the winning contest entries.
Open to all ages and skill levels.
Finalists will be entered to win full admission to the Skagit River Poetry Festival in May. Poetry Slam winner will win admission to a "Wake Up, Speak Out" Spoken Word Event at the Festival.
Contest Submission Deadline April 23.

Library Art Design Contest Winners
You voted for your favorite Library Art Designs and now we have a winner in adult and children’s categories. The winner will be announced April 2, and will appear on our Facebook and website. The winning art will be featured on our new library card coming out this summer! Thank you all for participating and voting in the contest.
Spring Break Crafts for Kids

Attention Kids out there, jump start your Spring Break with crafts. During Spring break we will have drop-in craft time at the library. April 5 through the 9 during library open hours. Stop in anytime and we’ll have a craft table setup.
