Celebrating Student Birthdays!
- Store bought cookies/cupcakes (individual servings) No cakes.
- Ice Cream may be purchased at the school ($1 per student)
- No balloons, flowers, treat bags or drinks may be brought to school.
- Invitation to parties will be distributed only to all students in the class or all of the boys or all of the girls.
Tuesday, January 25 will be a digital learning day for all students. Students will complete lessons on eCLASS from home that day.
Weather-Related School Closing or Cancellation
If hazardous weather, including snow or ice, or other emergencies present a threat to the safety of students, staff, or school property, GCPS may close early or cancel school as appropriate. The decision to cancel school is generally made before 6 a.m. The Gwinnett County Public Schools superintendent makes the decision about weather-related school closings including snow and ice. The school system immediately notifies:
Atlanta’s major radio stations
Atlanta’s major television stations
Additionally, the information is announced on GCPS TV. GCPS TV can be found on the following Gwinnett County cable channels:
Charter – Channel 22
Comcast – Channel 24 or 26
AT&T U-verse – check the GCPS TV website for details
Making up missed school days
The 2021-22 school calendar does not include designated inclement weather make-up days. GCPS will make up any inclement weather days (full-day cancellations) by using Digital Learning Days, and/or extending the school day or year.Counselor's Corner
