Message from Mr. Ulbrich
- Students have until Monday evening to enter requests for the 18-19 school year. Continue to provide guidance and support as they make these scheduling requests. I will send out a timeline of the scheduling process, including the building of the Master schedule very soon.
- With the Olympics underway, it has been suggested that we have a USA theme day. Look for details about a date.
- Don't forget that Wednesday is Valentine's Day. Do something special for your significant other.

Sunny Side Up Nominations
PHSN Sunny Side Up
NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2018 Spring Trip
Sunny Side Up has been our premier leadership development program for the past 24 years. We have had over 1000 students attend the retreat, and these same students have helped create the positive climate we have experienced in our school community.
The purpose of Sunny Side Up is to take students that are already leaders in their peer groups, and over the three day period work on developing their skills as leaders. When they return to their peer groups, it is our hope that they take what they learned and use it to bring people together and help create a positive atmosphere here at school.
We take 24 students each time and 10 staff members for the 3 day/ 2 night retreat. We do many team building activities, discussions, problem solving, brainstorming, and personal reflection activities. The students and staff have always had one of the most memorable experiences of their lives while attending this program.
For our spring trip please nominate any 9th, 10th, or 11th graders who show leadership potential. Nominate as many students as you wish. You must fill out a form for each student. Please only nominate a student one time. Multiple nominations for one student from the same person will not be considered. Please check the spelling of names before submitting.
Nominations will close on February 7, 2018, so that we can make the final selections for our trip.
