News & Announcements regarding COVID-19
Good Afternoon Parents and Students,
Due to ongoing health concerns, many enrichment and volunteer events have been canceled. As a result, spring semester enrichment and volunteer-hours requirements will be waived for all academies.
Seniors, will not be required to complete their spring enrichment and volunteer hours to receive the academy medal for graduation. However, because the YES Program at the high school is a separate entity from the academy, seniors who wish to receive their YES medal for graduation from the YES Program will need to reach out to the YES program on their campus and see what they are planning for this years graduating class.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me at donald.lam@fortbendisd.com. Please check the FBISD website for additional updates. Our first priority is for you and your family to remain healthy and safe
If you have specific questions for the district, you can go the FBISD Let’s Talk
Online Learning Readiness Survey - 1 Per Family
Please complete this survey to provide information related to your student(s) readiness to engage in online learning. Families with students at multiple campuses will only complete this survey one time. Please denote in the final question which campus(es) your student(s) attend.
Fort Bend ISD – At-Home Learning
We are excited to launch the Fort Bend ISD At-Home Learning webpage, where parents and families can access educational resources and activities to engage in learning while at home. There are a variety of resources that have been identified for instruction at all levels PreK - 12, and this website will continue to be updated in the coming weeks.
Be assured that Fort Bend ISD is diligently working to build structures to effectively train and support our staff and families to launch online learning with fidelity. We appreciate your continued support.
Sincerely,
Fort Bend ISD
