Hello parents and families of Northland High School, and welcome to the new Northland Newsletter! We are so excited to continue this monthly communication, and we hope it serves you well and helps you become more involved in your student's learning. Your Voice Matters!

Family Survey

Our District values feedback from families, and we would like to learn more about your child’s school experience this year. CCS is collecting responses for a Family-School Relationships Survey to learn how we can better support our community during the rest of the school year and beyond.

Parents and guardians, please take 10-15 minutes to complete the Family-School Relationships Survey. You will have between January 10th and January 28th to complete it. Families with children at more than one school should complete one survey for their oldest child in each school.

All responses are completely anonymous and will help us to plan programs, resources, and services for the remainder of this school year.

For Northland HS parents/guardians, the first 150 people to respond will win a thank you gift!

Attention Sophomores!!!

The Application for the Career Centers opens up Friday December 3rd, 2021 at 3:00pm.

The Application closes on Friday January 14th at 11:59pm.

If you are interested in applying, don't miss the deadline.

Attention Seniors!!!

If you do not have your Internship Credit completed, you need to stop by Mr. Bell's Office and talk about your plan.

Tutoring Resources for Parents and Students

The Columbus City Schools FACT Line, part of the Office of Customer Relations, has compiled a listing of local agencies, organizations, and individuals (independent contractors not under the auspices of CCS) who provide tutoring or family-related services, as listed in the Lutheran Social Services Directory for Franklin County. After-school tutoring from teachers is scheduled to begin January 25th, and will be available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:45 - 4:15 PM, unless otherwise noted. Communicate with your teachers if you are interested and keep any eye out for further communication!

*Please note that students must have their own transportation and need to come prepared to work.*
