It's Not Too Late - Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher conferences are happening this week. It's not too late to sign up for a conferenceon Thursday or Friday. Please reach out to your child's teacher for more information.
Citizens Advisory Council
The Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) serves as a conduit to the Board of Education for public concerns, advice, and information. An email, CAC@fcps.org, has been established for community members, parents/guardians, students, and staff who wish to share concerns, topics of interest, and/or issues with the CAC. Topics raised in these communications will be discussed by the Council and then relayed to Board leadership.
Book Character Dress Up and Fall Parties
Our students and staff are invited to dress up like their favorite book character on this day. Character costumes must follow school rules including no weapons (real or play). We ask that costumes are not violent and have no blood, gore or face paint.
Additionally, Fall parties will be happening in each classroom.
Lastly, our fabulous PTA has planned a trunk-or-treat for that evening beginning at 5:00 PM.
Happy Fall!

Volunteer Training
Parents, Guardians or Community Members must complete volunteer training before volunteering in any school in Frederick County. This training must be completed annually which means that if you were approved last year, you must stilll complete the training this year in order to volunteer in our school. This training must also be completed if you plan to chaperone on a field trip. Please use the link below to access this training if you would like to volunteer in our school.
Volunteer Training and Registration
Completion of this training is processed first at the county level. It is important to complete this training several days prior to the volunteer opportunity. We are not able to expedite this process.
