SHOUT OUT TO OUR OWN HOSA TEAM
This summer our HSAdv students represented us at the International HOSA Competition.
The HOSA conference was incredible with 9,750 competitors in 71 health science-related events. China, Canada, Puerto Rico and each state in the US sent its top 3 competitors and we proudly represented TEXAS in two events:
Community Emergency Response Team composed by Pavan K. and Ivan R. and Biomedical Laboratory Science represented by Shonik G.
Our students also participated in written exams, interactive workshops and visited exhibits. Sahana B., Erum K., and Swapnil S. volunteered at an event as patients and had the chance of experiencing this conference. We proudly are brought awards to our school as follow:
1) Pavan K.and Ivan R. placed 3rd in Community Emergency Response Team.
2) Shonik G. placed 6th Biomedical Laboratory Science.
3) ATC -Bioengineering 5th Ivan R.
4) ATC -General Chemistry 10th Shonik G.
