All Students Will Register Online Again This Year!

Beginning August 1st, KISD offices will be open from 8-3:00 Monday through Friday.

Online registration is currently open for returning students. You must use this parent portal link or go to the "Schools" tab and "parent portal" on the KISD website. There is now a mobile device link. If you need your child's portal ID, please contact your campus office. Currently the phone lines are down. Cell phones to reach the campuses are as follows:

Administration building and elementary- 903-467-9629 and KHS 903-467-9861

New Students to Kerens will need to contact your campus office in order to complete necessary paperwork and receive a parent portal login. Please bring the following documents for enrollment of new students: Social Security card, proof of residency (lease agreement or utility bill), birth certificate, and updated shot record.

For new students and returning students who need computer access, our campuses will provide assistance with online registration on the following days.

Reminder: All campuses

August 16th

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Meet the Teacher Night on all campuses. (Bring your school supplies)

6:00 p.m. - Meet the Bobcat Rally will take place in the KISD Gym.

August 20th- First Day of School

  • Morning Drop Off begins at 7:25 to the elementary gym.
  • Teachers will pick up between 7:40-7:45.
  • Breakfast begins by 7:50. Tardy bell rings at 7:55 a.m.

(Students must be in classroom by 7:55 a.m. bell.)

  • No breakfast will be served after 8:10 a.m.
  • Elementary classes will begin at 7:55 a.m. and school will end at 3:30 p.m.
  • Middle School and High School hours are also 7:55 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The drive behind the administration building is now a one way street. Vehicles can exit campus through the administration building lot or drive behind the softball fields.

During morning drop off, high school and middle school students must drop off in the high school student lot. All parents and visitors will check in at the high school office for middle school and high school.

Buses will continue to drop off behind the cafeteria. Please do not drop off students in the drive behind the administration building. All elementary students need to be dropped off in front of the elementary building.

Parking for events will only be available in the high school, middle school, elementary parking lots.
