Please Read: Updated COVID-19 Protocols

Dear Walnut High School Families,

The Los Angeles County Department of Health updated its guidelines this week regarding students testing positive or coming in close contact with a positive case. We were able to go through the guidelines and simplify to the best of our ability for parents and students that will help minimize any confusion. Click on one of the following resources below to help you if your child tests positive with COVID-19 or is a close contact with someone who has COVID-19.

  • Walnut High School COVID-19 Pathway Chart: This document can be used if your child tests positive with COVID-19 or has been identified as a close contact. We will continually update this document to reflect current LA County Department of Health Directives.

  • Walnut High School COVID-19 Questionnaire: We created a Google Form to help navigate through the various pathways of COVID-19 guidelines. Answer the questions in the form, and it will guide you on the next steps.

I would like to thank you all in advance for your cooperation and support as we continue to provide a safe learning environment for all. We will continually strive to update our students and families as we work through the constant changes, updates, and revisions of COVID-19 protocols.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and Happy New Year!

SCHOOL LUNCH POLICY

Due to safety concerns, we DO NOT accept student lunches in the office. We understand the importance of student nutrition, but we encourage students to either purchase lunch at school or bring their lunch from home. Food, drinks, or other items are NOT to be passed to students through the fence. This is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Please Note: Parents can now access the Food Services Department from our website under the Parents tab. On that page, parents can set up and deposit funds into their student's lunch account for purchasing lunch on campus.
