History of the Republican Party

The term "Republican" came from a democratic-Republican party and conveyed a commitment to the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In 1854 there was a small group that were dedicated abolitionists who gathered to fight the expansion of slavery. They gave birth to a party of people dedicated to freedom and equal opportunity. The Party was officially organized in July 1854 by thousands of anti-slavery activists at a convention in Jackson, Michigan. By no coincidence, two years later the first Republican National Convention took place in Philadelphia, where it was written.

The Missouri compromise of 1820 has divided the country between pro-slavery and anti-slavery. Although the industrial North had created an uneasy peace which had lasted three decades.

Who is Donald Trump? And Who Votes and Supports him?

Donald Trump being the fourth child of five, he was an assertive, energetic kid who attended New York Military Academy at the age of 13. Once older, Trump was a New York real estate developer who took after his father. He married Ivana Zelnickova Winklmayr, a New York fashion model. Divorced in 1991.

He made his presidential dreams come true on June 16, 2015, by running for president on the Republican ticket for the 2016 elections. He said "I am officially running for president of the United States and we are going to make our country great again. I will be the greatest jobs president the god ever created."

Trump has a problem with talking too highly of himself and poorly of other candidates. He thinks Ricky will ruin the country, same with Hillary.
