St. Jerome School Weekly Reminders

Reminders for the Week:
*Click here for the St. Jerome Parish Sunday Bulletin; please join us for Sunday Mass each week: 4:30 PM (Saturday Vigil), 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM (Children's Liturgy of the Word), & 11:00 AM.
*Picture retake day is on Wednesday. Any student who was absent on picture day or would like pictures retaken may have them done on the morning of December 1st. If you already purchased pictures, please return the original pictures on that day. If you need the picture form, you may request one from the school office or get one here. (8th graders have a different packet which is also available in the school office or here).
*Classes resume on Monday.
*Please keep our second graders in your prayers as they receive their first penance at our First Reconciliation Prayer Service on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
*Thursday is a St. Jerome Spirit Day; donations that day will be used to help each class purchase a gift from our parish's giving tree to benefit the residents of Spin who help adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
*St. Jerome School is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Donations may be brought to school through December 10th.
*Report cards for the first trimester (K-8th) will be available on OptionC on Friday, December 10th.
*A Strategic Planning Task Force for the Executive Board of Elementary Education (EBEE) has been established. In an effort to gain a broad perspective on how the EBEE can best support Catholic elementary education, the attached survey seeks your input. Student Health Reminders
If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or is a close contact to a person who tests positive for COVID-19, please contact us. We will seek advisement from the Philadelphia Department of Health and give you direction.
Our reopening plan calls on every member of the school community to support our values of mutual respect, integrity, willingness to sacrifice for the common good and foster community bonds across generations. Commitment to the policies will assist in protecting the health and welfare of all members of our school community.
In an effort to keep all children safe, we ask that Parents monitor their children’s Health daily. Below are the expectations related to the health monitoring.
I attest to :
Fever of 100.4 or above,
chills,
Cough,
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,
Fatigue,
Muscle or body aches,
Headache,
New loss of taste or smell,
Sore throat,
Congestion or runny nose,
Nausea or vomiting,
Diarrhea,
My child has not had any contact with anyone with COVID
I am following all CDC recommended guidelines and limiting my/my child’s exposure to risks such as above
If any of these symptoms present, please keep your child from school and contact the school. If the symptoms are serious please seek immediate medical attention.
We will keep you informed if the list of symptoms, listed above, changes in any way.
