FORES Supports Be a Pal Day to Promote Allergy Awareness!
Meet our New Counselor!
We are excited to announce our new Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary Counselor, Ms. Christie Lobello. Please see attached bio. Ms. Lobello will begin shadowing Ms. Solis this week and next to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you all for your support as we make this transition. Our students' well-being continues to be the most important thing to us as a campus and district.
PM Pick Up Arrival Time
In addition, our PK students and Life Skills students dismiss on Ralph Fair side. Families arriving prior to 2:30 on that side are hindering our families needing to assist these students with loading.
Please highly consider waiting until 2:45 to arrive on either side.
After School Clubs/Activities
Dropping off Lunch?
Our Current Process: Mrs. Burke places the black cart just inside the cafeteria prior to lunch times. As classes pass by, teachers and students look for their labeled lunch. Our teachers are also going to be including this information in substitute plans so our wonderful substitutes know this process as well.

Attendance Secretary - Mrs. Burke
Attendance Procedures:
· Teachers take attendance between 10-10:30 am daily. They mark a student Present or Absent. If a student is Absent, it automatically records as UNEXCUSED. (DAILY)
· Once the teacher attendance window closes, notifications are generated automatically from Skyward, and emails or texts are sent to parents. (DAILY)
· After 11:00 am, I then go into our attendance software in Skyward and make corrections based on communication with your teacher, nurse and/or myself. You are encouraged to email teacher first thing when you know there is going to be an absence and copy me at catherine.burke@boerneisd.net.
I will then reconcile all attendance daily making corrections to attendance. I run reports and have a check and balance system as well. I reach out to teachers if I see information is missing. This can take up to 48 hours.
FORES Traffic Flow - We Need Your Help to Continue Improving
Our morning and afternoon flow have improved a great deal! Thank you to everyone for helping by following our procedures. It has helped us focus on our students and vehicles.
A couple reminders:
*No walking up to pick up or drop off students before or after school. If we can focus on the students sitting and the vehicles in line, we can move the car lanes quicker.
*Do not drop off students in the parking lot. This is not safe.
*Chartwell is only a double lane in the afternoon when we have staff that can safely bring students to their cars. It is not a double lane in the mornings.
*Ralph Fair - please do no block the bus entrance/exits while waiting to turn into the parking lot.
*All families - please do not park in the parking lot for drop off. Our staff are unable to find a parking spot when they arrive between 7:00-7:10 and it is imperative they can get into the building quickly.
For this school year, please refrain from dropping off or picking up your students directly on Chartwell Lane or across the street. There is a Fair Oaks Ranch City Ordinance in effect that prohibits parking or standing during drop off and pickup hours. We work hard to quickly get our students loaded each day, please allow us this opportunity to help ensure the safety of our students.

Cafeteria Manager - Ms. Knights
Students can have up to 5 items on their tray. The least amount they can have is 3 to make a free lunch. There is no "extra" or "seconds" this year due to the number of students eating this year.
If students are getting just milk, individual food items, ice cream, juice, water, chips, etc, those item are individually priced.
