DCC Elementary Technology News - For Teachers
October 2017
Cool Tech Resource:
Screencastify - record your computer screen along with your voice to make a "how to" video, or record a lesson for your students when you have a sub in for the day. The video from Screencastify saves automatically to your Google Drive. All you have to do is share the link with your sub or students via email. Or leave a link to it on your desktop to be displayed through chromecast.
Screencastify is a FREE Google extension. Click here to learn more!
Website for Elementary Tech
The "Tech Class" website is up and running! Student's can watch tutorials on each lesson they do within my class. They also practice their keyboarding skills, by following the provided typing links on the page. Also, teachers can sign up for push in's and the laptop cart on the "Teacher's Page".
If you are interested to see what is going on within my classroom on a daily basis, I also have a link to my plan book on the website. The link is on the "Teacher's Page", under "What Student's are Learning in Tech"
