The New England Colony
Need Land? We got it!
Landform and Climate Options...
Their are quite a few landforms in this new Colony. The soil and land is naturally quite thin and rocky. It's not the best soil to farm on but we have amazing other things to make ups for it! But we don't have just rocky soil, we have a couple other landforms as well. There's also the forest. The forest is really helpful to be around it will help build houses and tools. It also helps build ships which are a big part of our colony. Speaking of ships. You can't have ships without water. The New England Colony is located right by the ocean for ships. Going off of the landforms I'm going to talk about the climate. Theses colonies have a quite cold winter. But don't let that freezing winter stop you!
Your New and Different Economic Characteristics...
There's natural resources EVERYWHERE in these New England Colonies. If there's forest there has got to be trees. After all a forest is made up of trees and other things. Trees are a main source of jobs, goods, transportation, and just regular everyday items. Trees create jobs for ship builders. They need that wood to make ships for transportation. But in order to get that wood creates another job. The job of a lumberjack. Farmland is also a natural resource found here. It creates jobs for farmers and merchants or people who trade to live. You trade food for other items to help you survive. The last resource I'm going to name is the water. I know this one might be a little obvious but they water does create jobs. They water does also help wit the ship building and creates good jobs for fishermen who fish for food. Since there is church there has to be a preacher or a church leader as a job too.
Religion and Our Beliefs...
The religion in the New England Colonies is quite strict. We have the freedom of religion but as long as the religion is the same as everybody else in the colony. We also take our church rules very seriously.
