All About brownies

By Maeve Coyle

Where did brownies originate?

In 1670 these two workers named Jones and Jane Bernard. They had a little shop in Boston were they used to make everything out of chocolate such as coffee, cups of chocolate and of course brownies. The easiest way to make brownies back then was to put a rough chocolate cake on top of a heating source. Keep stirring it up until it gets a frothy mixture. And of course tons and tons of sugar!

How do other people prepare brownies around the world?
