Beginning/End of Year Room Reports
Staff TIPWeb Audits
An Beginning/End of the Year Room Report is an audit process of reviewing all the technology equipment and devices used at your campus at the beginning/end of the school year. This audit is typically done before the school year begins/last month of the school year to ensure that all technology assets are accounted.
These reports can be printed out in Asset Management (TIPWeb-IT).
Please follow the steps below on how to start your BOY/EOY room report.
STEP 1: Print out your reports from TIPWeb-IT
Click on the Rooms Tab in TIPWeb-IT
Room Type can be filtered to Classroom, Office, Lab, Workroom, etc.
Select Room Inventory Report
The dropdown is located in the top right of the Rooms tab
Print your Room Inventory Reports
Step 2: Email your staff the End of the Year Room Report template
This has instructions on what they are supposed to do with the report once you hand it to them.
Feel free to reword or create your own template using my example below.
Step 3: Hand out the Room Inventory Reports
You will hand the staff member that is assigned to that room their Room Inventory Report. They will then mark what items are and what items are not in their classroom and add any notes if needed. When they finish this process, they should hand in these reports to you before school starts and before they leave for the summer in case you have any questions about their notes.
Please ensure that your secretary adds your name to the end of the year staff check off list to make it mandatory for all your staff to submit their reports to you.
Step 4: Make corrections
Please update or investigate your inventory if any changes need to be done.
