Oster's Annual Harvest Festival
Halloween Parade
On Thursday, October 31st our school will be having our Halloween parade at 1:15 pm. Students will parade around the upper-grade blacktop, so we ask that all visitors stand behind the classes. Please do not block any children from viewing the parade. Class parties will follow the parade and teachers will be sending notices out sharing how parents can help. Children are asked NOT to wear their costumes to school (except TK and K students). 1st-5th graders will have an opportunity to change before the parade. As you and your child decide on a costume, please keep in mind that it needs to be comfortable and easy to walk in. Costumes need to be in good taste. Bloody masks, or weapons (toy weapons included), are not permitted. If your child is unsure about their costume being too violent or bloody, please have them check with their classroom teacher or the school office. If your child does not participate in Halloween activities, we will have a teacher in our Makerspace offering STEAM activities. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me.

Support Oster by Donating to Home and School Club!
We are just past the half-way point in our Education Fund Campaign and we’ve raised $35,760. Thank you to all who have contributed so far. Programs like music, science, art, field trips, counseling, school supplies, Jiji math, specialty teachers and more, could not continue without your support. We hope you will help us with a donation today as we still have a way to go to meet our goal of $80,000 by October 31.
Many corporations match dollar for dollar so please check with your employer. Last year we raised $30,000 from corporate matching alone.
