Types of Clouds

The Clouds.
Clouds are a think mass of suspended water drops or ice crystals. There are 3 Main types of clouds. There's the Cirrus,Cumulus, and Stratus. The are some clouds that make The sky seem nice, and some that are grey and starts rain or snow or even thunder and such. All clouds are in Earths Troposphere. It is the Bottom layer of the earths atmospheres. Lets start with the basic clouds.
Cirrus Clouds
Cirrus Clouds are high, thin, Wispy clouds that are made up of ice. They are cold clouds and are high above the earths.
Cumulus Clouds
Cumulus Clouds are white puffy cottonball clouds. They mean "Fair weather clouds" and the Base of each cloud is flat.
Stratus Cloud
Stratus clouds are a white blanket of clouds that cover the entire sky. They resemble fog that doesn't reach the ground. It can sometimes mean light rain or drizzle.
Heights of clouds.
There are High,Mid,and Low clouds in the Troposphere. High clouds reach up to 7km in height. The mid clouds, 2-7km. And the Low clouds, 0-2km. There are Ten Basic cloud types. In the high clouds, there is the Cirrus, Cirrostratus, and Cirrocumulus. In the Mid there is the Altostratus, Altocumulus, and Nimbostratus. The low clouds have Cumulus, Stratus, Cumulonimbus and Stratocumulus.
