Intern Partnership Program Opportunity
The UVic Gustavson School of Business and Mitac’s have partnered and developed the Business Strategy Internship Program. This program is focused on providing undergraduate or graduate co-op students to develop a strategic analysis and plan for a business with the goal to help modify or restore business operations in this new and changing business environment. Students are supervised by a Gustavson faculty member in partnership with the company supervisor. Employers contribute $2500, the Gustavson School of Business $2500 and Mitac’s the remaining $5000.

A few more details:
- Employers must be a SME under 500 employees
- Willing to work with the university and Mitac’s in a partnership to supervisor and support the student throughout the work term
- Students are currently available for a 3 month work term, ending ideally on August 31st 2020. We have provided a number of resources to students to help them succeed in a remote work workplace and will continue to do so throughout the summer term, should your team continue to work remotely.
The following are a few examples of business strategies that our students would address during this work term:
Marketing / Operations / Finance / Human resources / Supply chain / Communications
We are available to help with the hiring process through posting your position, collecting student applications, and arranging remote interviews.
