Student Reminders

Please have students dress in layers and bring a jacket for the unpredictable spring weather.

Students are encouraged to have sunscreen in lockers to apply for outdoor PE and recess. Students should still have at least one emergency lunch item in their locker.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

June 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the County Courthouse, 311 West Main Street. The 4th - 7th grade band will play at the ceremony and all students will need to arrive by 6:15 p.m. in concert dress code, please no jeans. Parents please member that parking can be tricky so allow enough time to park and walk to the courthouse.

End of Year Picnic (Weather Permitting)

Families will be assigned an item to bring to school on June 6th. Please look for the notice in a few weeks. All family members are invited to the picnic. We will eat around 11:30 a.m., students will be dismissed after the picnic. NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM on June 6th.

Lost and Found

Parents please check in the lost and found bin for the lost items, it is bursting at the seams!

Class Photos ~ May 21st at 9:15 a.m.

Envelopes will be sent home next week. The class photos are $7.00. Please make your check payable to Bruce Pitcher Photography. If you happen to lose the "official" envelope simply write your child's name, grade and teacher on any envelope and send with your payment.

Out of District Students

We are now accepting out of district applications for the 2019-2020 school year. Please contact Ms. Clark if you still need to receive an application.

Box Tops & Labels for Education Program

Welcome back to school! We will be participating in both the Labels for Education and the Box Tops for Education™ programs again this year. Send clipped labels to school with your child as you collect them and I will submit them. Sign up at to get coupons and stay updated on our school’s earnings. Money raised from Box Tops is used by the Parent Group to fund projects at the school and Labels earnings can be used by the teachers to get supplies for the classroom. Thanks for helping!
