Trimester 2 Limited In-Person Schedule

ALL JHS STUDENTS INVITED TO ATTEND Limited In-Person Instruction NOW!

Students with the Last Name beginning A-L (some exceptions)

  • Monday | Wednesday from 8:00-10:00am

  • Strongly encouraged to attend ALL Google Meet classes Mon.-Thurs.

  • Canvas "Check-in" is REQUIRED every day including Friday

Students with the Last Name beginning M-Z (some exceptions)

  • Tuesday | Thursday from 8:00-10:00am

  • Strongly encouraged to attend ALL Google Meet classes Mon.-Thurs.

  • Canvas "Check-in" is REQUIRED every day including Friday


To become a Limited In-Person Learner 8am-10am:
  • MUST obtain a permission form by filling out this online form


ALL STUDENTS

  • REQUIRED to “Check-in” on Canvas every day (Monday through Friday) as you currently do for attendance.

  • Colored pencils

  • Art packet supplies (Art)

  • Composition Book (Math)

  • Headphones/earbuds

  • Mask (with an extra)

  • Water Bottle

It might also be nice to have a pink pearl eraser, ruler, and highlighter if you'd like!

TSD9 Virtual Academy

Friday, January 22nd :: Last Day to Sign-up for TSD9 Virtual Academy

The TSD9 Virtual Academy is a way for students to engage in robust and viable online learning without having to physically go to a school. This option is available to all students who would normally attend Tillamook schools in grades K-12. The Virtual Academy will consist of two levels (contingent upon enrollment numbers): K-6 and 7-12. The Many Faces of Mrs. Horan

The Many Faces of Mrs. Horan
Mrs. Horan is entering her 9th year as a teacher. She grew up in Southern California and went to college at Loyola Marymount University - Once a Lion, Always a Lion! While at LMU, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Secondary Education. A few years later, she returned to LMU to earn her Master's Degree in Child and Adolescent Literacy. Her hobbies USED to include singing and cheerleading, but now all of her free time is spent with her family; she has an amazing husband and two adorable sons!


Before settling down in Tillamook, Mrs. Horan led an interesting life! She was a featured guest on an old talk show. She performed on stage with the drummer from "'No Doubt" during Los Angeles Fashion Week. She sang the National Anthem on the field at a MLB game - specifically, at a San Diego Padres game, even though she is a diehard Angels fan. And one of the hardest things she's ever accomplished was an overnight hike to the top of Japan's Mount Fuji to watch the sunrise.


Although Mrs. Horan considers herself a Southern California native, she's lived all over the United States and even spent two years in Japan. Now that she has landed here in Tillamook, she is excited to share her life experiences with her students and hopefully inspire them to explore the world around them.

In preparation for Hybrid Instruction on Monday, January 25th, Thursday & Friday, January 21st & 22nd are Teacher Work Days. This means there will be No Google Meet or LiPi classes, but students will still need to complete assignments in canvas and check-in for attendance.
