"Educating the whole child: mind, body and spirit!"
PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Please know that safety is a top priority for us at the campus and district level. We conduct our monthly safety drills, all doors are secured, and everyone is badged in through V-Soft. No one is allowed in any part of the building without a tag. As a part of the most recent bond election, bullet-proof glass was installed on all of our reception area windows. Lock down emergency buttons were also installed over our building. Over spring break, construction will begin on our front vestibule. Once it is completed, visitors will only have access to the front office. Additional security cameras were installed at the end of last year as well.
Along with the safety enhancements mentioned above, the district continues to provide safety training for all administrative staff and provides police patrol at our campuses. The district has also provided a safety summary in the brochure below.
All safety precautions are in place. We will continue to partner with our parents and community to ensure we meet the social, emotional, academic and behavioral needs of our students. Together we will accomplish our vision of educating the whole child: mind, body and spirit.
