I think it is about how African Americans want to be treated equal.
Mama went to the store and when she asked if there where any fresh apple and the man said "Maybe", then when a White Woman asked the same thing he said "Right away".
Walter said his wife can't where pearls but white woman can.
Coflict: man vs self
Walter thought that the best thing for his family was to get a liquor store. When Ruth told him about what she was going to do, he just drank and stayed at the bar.
Mama
Wants a garden. Gets a check from her husbands life insurance. Walter and Beneatha's mom. Religious, kind, and caring to her family.
Ruth Younger
Is pregnant. Has a son named Travis. Wants an abortion, but doesn't go throw with it. Married to Walter. Very stressed.
Walter Younger
Is a shofar. Wants to buy a liquor license and store. Willy ran with the money. Married to Ruth. Has a son named Travis. He is selfish.
Conclution
The Younger family moved in to the house after Walter denied the money from Linder. Mama had told Ruth "he finally came into his Man hood."
