From the Principal's Desk
Our kindergarten students have begun eating in the cafeteria within the last couple of weeks. This Monday some of our first grade classes transitioned to the cafeteria as well. Please know that at this time parents/guardians are not able to eat lunch with their kids. Our teachers are working hard to teach kids the routines and procedures related to eating in the cafeteria. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We learned this week that Ms. Brandy Varner, Chatham Grove’s Teacher of the Year (TOY), has been selected as one of 3 finalists for TOY for Chatham County. Please join us in wishing Ms. Varner all the best as she competes for this additional honor. No matter what, she’s a winner for our kids and her teammates!

End of Quarter 3
The end of the third quarter is Friday, March 25th. Students will receive Quarter 3 report cards on Tuesday, April 5th.

From the Counselors
CGE Club Day
Introducing your 2022 CGE Student Council
President - HarperFavorite hobbies: Drawing, music, sleeping, and ELA. Why do you want to be on the CGE Student Council? What changes do you hope to make? I wanted to be on Student Council to make this school better than it already is. Everything needs work, and I think I can do that. Change the school, to be a model for others. I want to help everyone in the school reach as high as they want. I want to help them to be the best they can without doubting themselves. What are your goals? My goals are to clean up litter, stop bullying and littering, and expand the tutoring program. A little more about Harper: Your kids are in good hands with me as President :-) | Vice President - CarolineFavorite hobbies: I love dance, theater, and reading. Why do you want to be on the CGE Student Council? What changes do you hope to make? I want to make the school a more supportive place for students and boost school spirit. I also would like to help clean up around the school and make it a more clean environment for kids. What are your goals for the future? I want to do some of my college courses in High School and wish to go to UNC or Duke. I would like to take courses in Architecture/Engineering or Dance. A little more about Caroline: Another goal that I wish to achieve this school year is to stop Idling in the car line. |
