Celebrating Sean Simpson, CCSD's Teacher of the Year

Every day at Clarke Middle, seventh-grade social studies teacher Sean Simpson fights for his students inside and outside of the classroom and has dedicated himself to forming connections with them, amplifying their voices, ensuring they see themselves in the content he teaches, and helping them realize their abilities.

CCSD is proud to present this appreciation video of our 2022-23 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Sean Simpson. It premiered last night at the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and awards dinner, where Mr. Simpson was recognized. Good luck to Mr. Simpson as he competes in the state competition!

Nominate an Employee of the Month!

CCSD's Employee of the Month program recognizes and rewards staff members for their service and dedication to our students and families. Any member of the CCSD community (a parent/guardian, student, staff member, community/business leader) may nominate an employee, in any department at any school or district office location, who has been with CCSD for a minimum of one year.
