NEW Homeschool Music Academy
Fall Semester Launches Monday, August 10th!
In order to ensure a safe return for all, please be mindful of the COVID Precautions in place.
As a reminder, Spring and Summer Lesson Times DO NOT carry over. If you intend to take Fall Lessons, you will need to login to the Student Portal to claim a time with your teacher. You can also call or email the studio for registration assistance.
Due to occupancy restrictions imposed by Gov. Abbott, we are asking that parents drop off students and return to their cars for the duration of their student's lesson. We WILL NOT have an onsite waiting area. You may choose to accompany your student in their lesson studio.
We will be conducting our lessons In Person unless you have requested otherwise directly to the studio or your teacher has communicated otherwise to you.
Thank you all for your eagerness to return to the studio and for your continued commitment to a musical education for your family!
August Billing Processes August 10th!
Due to the mid-month start of the Semester, August billing will process on Monday, August 10th. Please be sure to submit any cancellations or reschedule dates to us ahead of that date.
This can be done directly through the Student Portal or you can send the studio an email at invoicing@texasampsandaxes.com.
Open Call for Singers & Bassists!
We are looking for committed singers and bassists to fulfill spots in our Student Band Program.
If you have an interested student, please email Iris at info@texasampsandaxes.com to schedule an audition.
Each auditioning student will be expected to perform one of the following songs:
- Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet
- Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye
- The Chain by Fleetwood Mac
Auditions will be scheduled for the week of August 24th - yes, we do know that's not a lot of time to learn a song. That's the point. Our student band programs are an accelerated learning program and all band members will be expected to develop a working knowledge of songs in short time periods.
