Health and Safety:
COVID Updates:
- Testing: The online registration system has been updated so that individuals do not need to select a specific time to test when they sign up. Once you sign up for testing, you can choose to go anytime during that day prior to the testing site closing.
- Check out our district Dashboard and COVID-19 Plan page for more information.
- The latest guidance from the California Department of Public Health and county Public Health Services includes these updates:
Students utilizing the “return on Day 8” option may now also test as early as Day 5. Previously, students could only test on day 6 or 7.
A 14-day quarantine no longer applies:
Return on Day 8 is now authorized for use with students who were exposed in non-school settings and choose to test on or after day 5.
Return on Day 11 is now authorized for use with students who were exposed in non-school settings and do not test.
This means there is no longer a requirement of a 14-day quarantine for students exposed outside of a school setting.
- We continue to see our lowest number of students out on isolation (ill) and in quarantine (exposed as a close contact), with less than 3% of our students out due to illness. Thank you to everyone for working collectively to keep classrooms, schools, and campuses safe.
