STATE TESTING
State testing for 3rd - 6th grade begins April 22nd and runs through the week of May 13th. Please make sure that your student(s) get a good nights sleep, a hearty breakfast and has no dental or doctor appointments scheduled during this time. We greatly appreciate your help and support.
Spring Break
Spring Break is April 8th - 12th
Please do not schedule your vacation time earlier or later.
Your students attendance is very important.
COLOR RUN/Parent Volunteers Needed
Our school wide color run is scheduled for April 19th. Please make sure that your students bring plenty of water, dress in clothes than can get dirty and show off all the pretty colors and wear their running shoes.
We do need parent volunteers to help spread the color as students run past. FHEA will have a sign up sheet, keep an eye out for that.
The color run is a fun time for all students, teachers and parents.
April 3rd
Teachers will be reaching out to their parents and will be letting you know if they are doing a walk-in or scheduling meeting times.
Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures will be held May 9th.
Look for picture packages to be sent home two weeks before.
Attention 6th Grade Parents
Your 6th grade child is getting ready to start 7th grade.
California law requires ALL incoming 7th graders to have a TDAP immunization as well as all other mandatory immunizations prior to starting school in the fall. Students who have NOT received their updated vaccines will NOT be allowed to start school in August.
We encourage you to contact your child's doctor immediately to schedule an appointment if your child has not yet received the TDAP booster, or is behind on other immunizations. If you have questions please call your school's health office.
If your child has already had their updated immunizations, please bring proof of immunizations to the school NOW to avoid delays in August. Early compliance is the best way to improve the chances of your child getting a preferred elective class.
Thank you for your cooperation.
