Arch Ready: Career Fair Prep
Time: 5-6:30 PM

In this session, you will learn how to identify resources to conduct employer research prior to attending the Career Fair; how to develop and demonstrate a 20-30 second introduction/elevator pitch; and how to identify appropriate business professional attire to wear to career fairs.

In this session, you will learn different types of interview questions and strategies for answering them well; how to analyze a job description to identify interview talking points; how to market your unique strengths during an interview; and how to develop insightful questions to ask during an interview.
Arch Ready: Cultivate a Career You Love Using Your Values and Skills
Time: 3-4:30 PM

Don't forget the importance of knowing your career values and skills as you search for jobs and internships! Attend this interactive workshop to gain that knowledge and use it for your job/internship search. After this workshop you will be able to identify and prioritize career values; assess motivation and proficiency in transferable skills; and understand how to use knowledge of values and skills in job/internship search.

Development Specialist, Bike MS (NAT2672)

Community Education Fellow
Position Description: Atlanta Legal Aid Society helps low-income people meet basic needs through free civil legal services. Founded in 1924 by 17 prominent attorney volunteers, we now have 68 attorneys on staff. During our 90 year history, we have helped to establish the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, coined the term “predatory lending,” pioneered legal services for people with AIDS and Cancer, established the first medical-legal collaborative serving children in the Southeast, and won a landmark Supreme Court case on behalf of people with disabilities. The goal of the project is to improve the usability and accessibility of Georgia’s self–help legal website, GeorgiaLegalAid.org, as well as the national LawHelp template it utilizes. The fellow will work in Legal Aid’s office downtown with travel required to other Legal Aid county offices and outreach events in the metro-Atlanta area. The fellow will work with the Director of Grants & Innovation to implement the project and market the website content.
