PSAT INFORMATION
Parents/guardians of students in Choir, Orchestra, Band, Guitar, and Theater! You are invited to attend our 2024 Performing Arts Tour Parent Meeting. It will be held September 27, 2023, at 6:00pm in the HS Music room (146) - during parent teacher conferences! This is a great opportunity to have our 2024 tour cost, itinerary, and opportunities presented to us by our travel agent, Tom Merrill, and have all your questions answered. You do not need to have committed to going on tour to come to the meeting, nor does coming to the meeting imply you have committed; it is information only! Practice times
Drill Team: Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at Prov Hall Elementary gym (new gym) - The team meets at 2:45 in the portable and walks together to the gym.
Air Rifle Marksmanship: Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 am in the cafeteria. Meet at the JROTC shed (south side of building) at 0900.
Color Guard: Tuesdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at the high school (JROTC shed (south side of building).

Where: North Fork Park, Eden, UT. Transportation provided. Meet at high school portable at 0630.

The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential. Students must have a 3.3 GPA, be Pell-eligible, and from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American.

QuestBridge National College Match
Are you a low-income high school senior who has excelled academically, but feels that the nation’s best colleges are financially out of reach? The QuestBridge National College Match can be your pathway to a top college. Match Scholarship Recipients are granted early admission to one of QuestBridge's college partners with a full four-year scholarship, worth over $200,000. Our college partners use a combination of their own funds as well as state and federal aid to fund the scholarship. Candidates should be academically outstanding high school seniors from households earning less than $65,000 per year for a household of four.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. 50 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. The 2024 application will be available August 1-October 2, 2023, for students who will graduate during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Make Your Mark Contest
Students can create an original bookmark for the 2023 my529 Make Your Mark contest for a chance at a $1,000 my529 college savings scholarship account from my529 and the Utah System of Higher Education. Utah students enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to take part.

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship
The 2024 application opened on August 1, 2023. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.

Fall 2023 Jumpstart Coalition Scholarship
Up to three applicants will each receive a $1,250 scholarship award, AND one eligible applicant will receive an additional $500 bonus to their scholarship from my529 totaling $1,750. Students must be juniors or seniors, and have successfully completed, or currently be enrolled, in the General Financial Literacy course. Applicants must make a 60-second YouTube video that answers the question, “What are 3 important skills from your financial literacy class that will help you prepare for college and life after college?”

This program is open to all high school seniors planning on a technical or vocational education or students with special medical or financial needs.

Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship
The SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program is a combined educational and workforce development opportunity for STEM students. SMART offers scholarships for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students pursuing a STEM degree. Scholarship recipients receive full tuition, annual stipends, internships, and guaranteed employment with the Department of Defense after graduation.
**This scholarship is for students who have already started college and are 18+ years old, but if you are interested in pursuing a STEM career, review the eligibility requirements now and keep this scholarship in mind for the future!
