End of Year Message

As my 1st (partial) year as Newark Superintendent comes to a close, I want to thank all of the staff, parents, community members, the BOE and most importantly our students for going above and beyond in such a difficult year. You did a phenomenal job navigating the waters and pivoting at each turn during these unprecedented times!

It was great to build relationships with many of you in my first 18 weeks and I look forward to building more as we look to reopening schools five days a week in person!

I hope you all have a relaxing, wonderful summer filled with the things you love to do most! I look forward to rejuvenating and getting ready for school in the fall. September will be here before we know it!! Happy 4th of July!!

Have a great summer,

Sue Hasenauer
