Exciting Opportunities
A lot of exciting things happened on Gateway's campus today.
- This morning about 150 parents ate breakfast with their students before they went to work and class.
- Later, 114 pre-school and elementary students got to play on our brand new playground set.
- Tonight, we will welcome the Portsmouth Christian Patriots to our gymnasium for Metro Conference basketball games at 5:30 and 7:00.
You may have also noticed that there is a lot of additional activity as well. Buildings are being painted, doors and windows are being replaced, trees are being trimmed, entrances are being redesigned, new signage is being installed, and a lot more. But as I told a group of middle school students this week,
It's not about the things; it's about the people we serve.
I'm thrilled that we can provide an exiting new play opportunity for those 114 students.
I'm excited that 108 students will be able to enter the Middle School and High School building on a rainy day without getting dripped on.
I'm excited that every physical improvement may make it a little easier for us to share the love of Christ with someone else.
