Fall Events
There is always a lot going on at your Pottsboro Area Library, and this fall is no exception. Mark your calendars for these events and be sure to check our website for updates:
- October 19, - 6 p.m. Dr. Natalie Beight , information for a walking group
- October 22 - 10 a.m. - noon Community Conversations
- October 24 - 2-4 p.m. Introduction to Microsoft Word, RSVP 903-786-8274
- November 7 - 1-5 p.m. Authors Donna M. Johnson & Christine Wicker "Texas Writes" discussion, book review and refreshments
- November 9 - 1:30 p.m. Monthly Friends meeting at the Lion's Club
- November 11 - Closed for Veterans Day
- November 14, - 3 - 7 p.m. Art Sale with complimentary wine and appetizers
- November 19, - 5:30 - 7 p.m. Pottsboro Chamber mix and mingle @ the library, co-hosted by the Friends of the Pottsboro Library and Home Hospice of Grayson County
- November 21- 2-4 p.m. Women's Self Defense Class
- The Pottsboro Senior Center meets at the library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Friends of the Pottsboro Library and Pottsboro Senior Center participated in the Pottsboro Frontier Day parade. "Gizmo" our faithful Reading to Rover dog, was on board too!
Booth at Frontier Day
Friends of the Pottsboro Library and Pottsboro Senior Center manned the Library's booth at Frontier Day. Volunteers handed out candy, played games and sold paperback books.
Art Lab for the Pottsboro Area Library
Annie Henderson designed an "Art Lab" booth on behalf of the Pottsboro Area Library for Frontier Day. Local artists demonstrated Raku,, painting, and clay pottery.
Friends of the Pottsboro Area Library
Your membership and participation is vital to the success of the Pottsboro Area Library. If you have an idea, especially for fundraising, we want to hear it. Some recent suggestions were holding quarterly book reviews and Trivia night. If you can help, contact Ann Murray at 903-786-8274.
Monarch Butterfly Program
