Special Thanks to Grades 5-8 from Trinity’s Evangelism Commission
Thanks to our students and parents for being Christmas shepherds and delivering packets of 10 Christmas invitations to homes in their neighborhood as well as to family and friends to welcome them to worship the Christ-child at Trinity Lutheran this Christmas. On 12/9, President Oertel, Evangelism Commission leader Jason Scherer, and Pastor Oelhafen gave a presentation to the TLS students in grades 5-8 to help them learn how to share their faith at Christmas and deliver invites with a parent to guide them. The goal was to help the students realize how easy, important, and even fun it is to share Christ with a world that doesn’t know Him. The students enthusiastically responded. Our Trinity staff is also modeling how to share their faith by sharing these invitations with others.. In fact, a recent survey found that 57% of people are likely to attend church with someone at Christmas if they were invited. Extra business cards are in the church/school offices.. Please speak with Evangelism chairman Brad Tildahl 262-203-1272 or Pastor Oelhafen 262-442-8568 if you need any help. We are praying for you.
