NWEA TESTING WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, JANUARY 18TH
Week of January 18th - Math and Reading
Week of January 25th - Science and Language Usage
We know the pandemic has had an impact on learning. NWEA testing will provide insight as to what the impact has been and provides teachers with information to inform their instruction when working with both large groups and individual students. Parents can expect student growth reports to be sent home in early-mid February.
NRMS WINTER PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Parent-Teacher Conferences are optional and will be held in three formats.
- Phone Conference
- Virtual Conference

Tuesday, February 2nd: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Thursday, February 4th: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS!
Daily Attendance Reminder: Please continue to call the attendance line (863-6312) if your child will not be attending classes, remotely or face to face, for any reason (appointments, illness, Internet/technical difficulties, etc.) during the school day.
- If your child is not physically in class, on their Cohort Face to Face day, they will be marked absent (whether they are able to remote in or not).
- Students will be marked absent if they are not online on their Cohort Remote day.
- If your child or a family member tests positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please call the office to report the information for school contact-tracing purposes.
COVID-19 SYMPTOM INFORMATION/ACTION
1 MAJOR = Testing
- Cough
- Loss of Taste or Smell
All household members stay home until cleared by your Health Care Provider - documented alternative diagnosis or a Neg. Covid Test
2 MINOR Symptoms =Testing
- Fever
- Chills
- Headache
- Extreme Tiredness/Fatigue
- Sore Throat
- Congestion or Runny Nose
- Body Aches
- Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea
- Shortness of Breath
All household members must stay home until cleared by your Health Care Provider - documented alternative diagnosis or a Negative Covid Test.
