Thank you to the HSA for providing the Holiday Shop for our students. I'd also like to thank all of the parent volunteers for your assistance. The Sussex Avenue community thanks you for donating your time, encouragement, and support.

As a parent, it was by far the best gifts I received during the holiday season. Just picture your son/daughter looking over all the items for purchase and selecting something based on what they think you would love most. They are treasures for a lifetime!

Fun in December!!

it is so much fun seeing the children and their creativity each day with their themed gear on. The joy on their faces when they see their teachers dressed has been extraordinary.

Wellness Corner

Nurse's Corner- Ms. Ruta

Just a reminder: If your child needs to be out of gym class or recess due to illness or injury (in any MSD school), we must have a note from a healthcare provider. Although this is sometimes inconvenient, we cannot accept notes from parents. Notes can always be faxed over to the school directly from your doctor's office. Thank you!

Strengthening our Children

Parenting is a challenging task. Children do not come with instruction manuals and to make it even more difficult, each of our children is different. Here's a great article to help strengthen your child's mental health. Click here.

I am happy to meet with any member of the community! Should you like to discuss questions, concerns, or any matter, please contact Ms. Melissa Johnson at 973-292-2250 ext. 6550 to schedule an appointment.
